Engagement and Promoting Progress
Presented by Danielle Carey

Description
This webinar is scheduled for 6:00 PM EDT / 3:00 PM PDT
This course was designed by a neurodivergent clinician to help identify how to bridge the gap between differing cognitive, sensory, and emotional experiences for neurotypical and neurodivergent individuals. This webinar will provide tips to help clinicians build authentic connections with neurodivergent pediatric patients to foster progress and growth.
Participants will learn practical strategies for identifying and understanding the unique needs of neurodivergent individuals. By focusing on recognizing individual differences to allow for accommodation of the nervous system versus activation and discovering points of shared joy, this webinar will teach clinicians and educators how to build authentic, supportive relationships with pediatric patients that promote trust and engagement. Tools for creating personalized, strengths-based approaches will be shared, along with techniques for fostering connection in a variety of settings.
